This is the A/C belt that drives the A/C to keep the humidity out of your vehicle. The car can be cold or warm depending on the customer. It is wise to change this belt out the same time you change out your engine belt as they usually wear out the same time and since it is in the same area, it is best to use one task to replace both belts. E46 3 Series models will cover all non M3 models, (323, 325, 328 and 330)
